PROBLEM:
My battery always becomes flat quickly.
DIAGNOSIS:
adjustment is needed to the alternator/generator
the battery electrolyte level is below minimum
the battery terminals are loose- TIGHTEN
corrosion to the battery terminals- REPLACE
alternator/generator charging incorrectly
wiring in charging circuit loose/broken/faulty
short circuit wiring in the car
there is internally defective wiring
PROBLEM:
The alternator/generator light never goes out.
DIAGNOSIS:
alternator/generator is faulty
defective alternator/generator drive belt
the alternator/generator voltage regulator is inoperative (broken)
PROBLEM:
When I turn the key, the alternator/generator light doesn't come on.
DIAGNOSIS:
defective warning LED (light emitting diode).
the defective warning circuit is not complete (short circuit)
